Allosaurus-Mouth Closed Model

Allosaurus was a large, carnivorous theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, known for its "strange reptile" name meaning and its ability to hunt large prey . It was the most common large predator in the Morrison Formation and was built for speed and powerful attacks, featuring a lightweight but strong skull, dagger-like serrated teeth, and three-fingered hands with sharp claws. While its exact social behavior is debated, it likely hunted large herbivores like sauropods and stegosaurs, though some fossils suggest it may have also competed with and attacked other Allosaurus.
